Asia Nano Forum

The Asia Nano Forum is a network organisation to promote excellence in research, development and the economic uptake of nanotechnology within the Asia Pacific, and more recently includes the Middle East. The forum seeks to benefit its member economies educationally, socially, environmentally and economically by fostering collaboration and acting as a focus for regional and global nanotechnology issues.

The Network was founded in May 2004, registered as a society in Singapore in 2007 and consists of:

  • United Arab Emirates

The forum also has links with Nanoforum – the European Nanotechnology Gateway. Participation in the forum is by both government and researchers. The forum organises an annual summit which representatives from the department have attended. ​
