The Government established Innovation and Science Australia (ISA), as part of the National Innovation and Science Agenda (NISA), as an independent statutory board responsible for providing strategic whole-of-government advice on all science, research and innovation matters. ISA’s Australia 2030: Prosperity through Innovation

The Government tasked ISA to develop a strategic plan for the Australian innovation, science and research system out to 2030.
