These charts show the distribution of program participants across several attributes, and the number of firms in each program.
In the top panel, for the selected program, the percentage of firms with the selected attribute are displayed in the chart on the left. Attributes include firm size, industry, exporting status and exporter class. These figures can be compared to the all-firm benchmark on the right-hand side of the top panel. The all-firm benchmark describes the distribution of attributes for all the employing firms in Australia for the selected year, approximately 800,000 firms each year. Because of the large number of firms in the benchmark attribute, the figures remain fairly consistent over time, so only one year of benchmark data is displayed at once.
The middle panel shows the number of firms in the selected program by cohort, and the bottom panel shows the number of participants across all programs and cohorts.
For example, for the 2013–14 cohort of the Enterprise Connect program, there were 633 participants. 63.5 per cent of these businesses were small, 35.2 per cent were medium and 1.3 per cent were large. This is compared to 94.3 per cent small, 5.2 per cent medium, and 0.5 per cent large firms in the all-firm benchmark in the same year.
Use the buttons above the tables to view different programs and attributes. The benchmark year can be changed using the drop down menu.
Please note that some programs have too few participants to display counts.
