The Australian Government has developed a Net Zero Plan on how Australia will transition to a net zero economy by 2050.
The Resources Sector Plan is one of 6 sectoral emissions reduction plans that support the Net Zero Plan. The plan covers how the Australian resource sector will transition to a net zero economy. It does this by analysing opportunities in each sub-sector:
- minerals
- oil and gas, including liquified natural gas
- coal resources
We developed the plan with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
