Meghan is the Secretary of our department.
Deputy Secretary
Jane has responsibility for Strategic Policy, Analysis and Insights, Minerals and Resources, Oil and Gas, and International, Trade and National Security divisions.
Deputy Secretary
Julia is responsible for the Industry Growth, Commercialisation, and Sovereign Capability and Supply Chains divisions, as well as Manufacturing and the National Reconstruction Fund.

Helen is responsible for the Science Division, Technology and Digital Division, Technology Investment Taskforce, the National Measurement Institute and Questacon.

Departmental entity executives

Acting Anti-Dumping Commissioner
Effective 19 February 2024, Isolde Lueckenhausen, Deputy Commissioner Investigations, will be acting Commissioner until a new Commissioner is appointed.
During this time, she is responsible for exercising the powers of the commissioner under the Customs Act 1901.
Chief Scientist | Industry Innovation and Science Australia board deputy chair
Dr Foley is Australia’s Chief Scientist and has expertise in research, quantum physics, sensors, devices and systems, research translation, leadership, advisory and advocating the role of women in STEM.
Australian Space Agency head
Enrico is responsible for governance and performance, management, policy leadership and strategic direction of the agency.
CEO, Australian Radioactive Waste Agency (ARWA)
Sam has a deep understanding of the technical, operational, regulatory and stakeholder challenges associated with safely managing and disposing of radioactive waste.

We have counsellors in Beijing, Bengaluru, Brussels, Jakarta, New Delhi, Seoul, Tokyo and Washington DC. Counsellors work to strengthen our international networks and advise us about key initiatives in their host countries.
