Manufacturers and researchers will collaborate on world-leading innovations to transform industries such as critical minerals and renewable energy.

Round 16 grant recipients include:

  • CPC Engineering will design and construct a pilot plant to demonstrate an innovative process to separate iron, aluminium and other metals which addresses environmental and operational cost challenges.
  • ROC Technologies will design, manufacture, deploy and assess performance of shared helical anchors for offshore renewable energy. The project will build local capabilities and supply chains.
  • Nanocube Health will drive development of technology for early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
  • Miniprobes will deliver a AI-enabled optical scanner to rapidly assess beef quality.
  • Atomo Diagnostics will develop Australia’s first at-home syphilis test which distinguishes active infection from past-treated case.
  • Emesent will pioneer an innovative autonomous mining platform to collect and merge data from field robots and sensors.

CRC-P grants strengthen links between industry and research organisations, allowing them to develop new technologies, products, processes and services. Funding supports industry-led research projects, offering matched funding of between $100,000 and $3 million. Grants are for a period of up to 3 years.
