The projects will help overcome barriers to growing sustainable, competitive businesses and create secure jobs for all Australians.
Supported projects include the development of:
- a large-scale solar panel testing and recycling process using AI to optimise environmental and economic outcomes
- a process to upcycle plastic and tyre waste into high-value graphene for use in electronics
- a miniature digital probe used in real-time gastrointestinal endomicroscopy examinations leading to better patient outcomes
- a prototype electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft for firefighting, casualty evacuation and cargo applications.
CRC-P grants strengthen links between industry and research organisations, allowing them to develop new technologies, products, processes and services. Funding supports industry-led research projects, offering matched funding of between $100,000 and $3 million. Grants are for a period of up to 3 years.
