The government notes recommendations 1-6 made by the committee in its report. However, given the passage of time since this report was tabled, a substantive government response to these recommendations is no longer appropriate.
Introduction
The Joint Select Committee on Trade and Investment Growth prepared a report on the inquiry into Australia’s Future in Research and Innovation.
The committee published its report in May 2016.
The Australian Government tabled this response in the Senate on 23 May 2024.
The response was tabled in the House of Representatives on 28 May 2024.
