Power Transformers exported from the People's Republic of China

The Anti-Dumping Review Panel (ADRP) has received applications from Wilson Transformer Company Pty Ltd seeking review of decisions by the Commissioner of the Anti-Dumping Commission (ADC) made under subsections 269TDA(1) and 269TDA(13) of the Customs Act 1901, terminating the investigation into the alleged dumping of Power Transformers exported from the People's Republic of China (Reviewable Decisions).

The Reviewable Decisions were published on the ADC website on 31 January 2020 (ADN 2020/010 refers).

Under subsection 269ZZT(1) of the Customs Act 1901, the ADRP must make a decision on the application by affirming or revoking the Reviewable Decisions. The ADRP's decision will be made on or before 18 May 2020 and will be published on the ADRP website.

The Panel's decision was subject to judicial review proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia. A link to the matter on the Commonwealth Courts portal is available here
