The APS Blockchain Network’s first event for 2021 is here!

We invite public servants across Australia to join us by videoconference on Friday 12 March.

During the session you will hear from the South Australian Government, in collaboration with MIT, to learn about their digital currency blockchain pilot, Project Ubin.

Project Ubin is an international project that began in 2016 in Singapore. The project set out to explore using blockchain technology for the clearing and settlement of payments and securities.

Presenters will showcase the key learnings from the pilot, and discuss the opportunities and challenges of implementing blockchain pilots in a government context.

The APS Blockchain Network is presenting the event. The network aims to connect, support and promote blockchain enthusiasts and users in the Australian public service.

The event is free and runs from 10:30 to 11:30am AEDT. Public servants from any level of government are welcome to attend.
