The Battery Breakthrough will support Australian battery manufacturers develop their capabilities. This includes those critical to our economic resilience to support a Future Made in Australia.
It will provide production incentives targeted at the highest value opportunities in the supply chain. This will improve efficiencies and help build competitive advantage.
The Battery Breakthrough builds on other initiatives that help Australian businesses grow and compete including the Industry Growth Program, the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation and the Critical Minerals Facility.
