The National Measurement Institute (NMI) is seeking feedback on the new international standard for electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS).

NMI has been working with the International Organisation of Legal Metrology (OIML) to develop the new standard.

EVCS use electricticy meters to determine the amount customers pay. The OIML Guide is the international document for the requirements and testing procedures used to evaluate these instruments.

You can view the draft guide and provide comments on our Consultation hub.

Submissions are welcome until 18 February 2022.
