David Latina will lead the Anti-Dumping Commission for the next 5 years.
Mr Latina replaces Dr Bradley Armstrong PSM, who retired from the role in February 2024. Deputy Commissioner Isolde Lueckenhausen has been acting in the position.
The Anti-Dumping Commission ensures a strong, evidence-based anti-dumping system to defend Australian businesses from unfair trade practices. It investigates claims of alleged dumped and subsidised imports that may have injured Australian industry. Mr Latina will be responsible for making recommendations to the Minister for Industry and Science on the imposing of anti-dumping duties.
He brings extensive experience working with small business, industry and government. Previous roles included:
- Small Business Victoria
- Deloitte
- Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Mr Latina will start as Commissioner from 13 Jan 2025.
