8 Australian businesses will share over $50 million in grants through round 1 of the Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI) Translation and Integration streams.
This support will enable manufacturers in the resources technology and critical minerals processing sector to:
- scale-up their manufacturing
- adopt advanced manufacturing techniques
- produce high value products for export.
This will create skilled jobs and continue to build Australia’s world class reputation in the resources sector.
This brings the total value of grants announced under the MMI to over $100 million. 17 businesses have now received grants for medical products, space manufacturing, and resources technology and critical minerals processing.
