IGP supports innovative startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) undertaking commercialisation or growth projects.
Projects must align to Australian Government priority areas for the National Reconstruction Fund and help build Australian manufacturing capability for the future.
Matched grant funding will help grant recipients significantly scale up and transform their businesses. Successful recipients are:
- Forager Automation Pty Ltd to receive a $157,943 Early-Stage Commercialisation grant to support the development of its robotic device. The device will reduce labour costs and increase yield efficiency for farmers.
- Li–S Energy Limited to receive $1.7 million to support its high-tolerance lithium foil manufacturing process for the next-generation battery industry. It will ensure consistent quality and reliability in battery production, reducing dependency on imported materials and enhancing supply chain security.
- Cauldron Molecules Pty Ltd to receive $4.3 million to support its fully automated hyper-fermentation technology. This will support biomanufacturing processes for mainstream goods such as food, animal feed, fibre and fuel.
- Electrogenics Laboratories Ltd to receive $1 million to support its MOSkin TM patient radiation dose measurement system. The system will reduce the risk of over and under exposure to radiation during radiotherapy treatments.
- Brandsec Pty Ltd to receive $231,000 to support its Unphish software tool. The software can help businesses by removing malicious phishing content from the internet, including from compromised websites and fake social media accounts.
