86 businesses will share over $55 million in grants through round 2 of the Manufacturing Modernisation Fund (MMF).
These grants will co-fund new projects that will help modernise Australia’s manufacturing sector. Successful recipients will use the MMF grants to invest in projects that encourage innovation, boost productivity, and create new jobs in Australian manufacturing.
Grant recipients had to demonstrate alignment with the 6 National Manufacturing Priorities.
The MMF will provide recipients with grants of between $100,000 - $1 million, which will fund up to 25% of their eligible project expenditure. Projects will run for up to 2 years.
The MMF Round 2 builds on the success of the MMF Round 1 which supported around 200 projects.
