The Australian Government is seeking feedback on the Laminaria-Corallina decommissioning levy exposure draft.
Treasury is inviting all interested parties to comment on the draft legislation.
The government will introduce the temporary levy on offshore petroleum production in Australian Commonwealth waters. This is to recoup the Commonwealth’s costs to decommission and remediate the Laminaria-Corallina oilfields and associated infrastructure.
