We invite you to help share expertise, build industry and deepen our trade and investment links as part of the Timor–Leste Australia liquefied natural gas (LNG) partnership.

The partnership supports business and government delegate visits between Timor–Leste and Australia. Through the partnership we aim to share knowledge, strengthen business relationships and build workforce capability in the LNG industry.

We’re looking for participation from:

  • oil and gas companies
  • suppliers and professional services firms
  • education institutions
  • industry bodies
  • community groups.

You might choose to:

  • share your work with the possibility of engaging new business partners
  • showcase your facility or worksite
  • support education and training to grow the next generation of industry professionals
  • learn more about the LNG industry and help create future career development options.

Oil and gas is a vital industry for Timor–Leste and Australia. We have shared interests in LNG development including carbon capture storage. We cooperate through the Bayu–Undan gasfield which supplies gas from Timor–Leste’s offshore area to Darwin.

The Timor–Leste Australia LNG partnership builds on our existing industry and government collaboration.
