A project run by Turbine Sunshine Coast, a food and beverage manufacturer, has been announced under the largest component of the Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI) Collaboration stream.
Turbine Sunshine Coast will receive around $33.4 million in grants funding to support their food and beverage manufacturing precinct.
This projects will see a number of Australian manufacturers work together to support over 50 small and medium enterprises. They will collaborate, scale-up and become more competitive.
It will feature a research and development and industry-embedded training centre, as well as implementation of industry 4.0 technologies. This will help the sector become more competitive and create skilled jobs.
