Scientists working in lab

Hundreds of Australians have already joined the conversation on revitalising Australia’s National Science and Research Priorities and National Science Statement.

Now we’re continuing the discussion with the release of the draft priorities.

The priorities have 4 core aims:

  • Ensuring a net zero future and protecting Australia’s biodiversity
  • Supporting healthy and thriving communities
  • Enabling a productive and innovative economy
  • Building a stronger, more resilient nation.

Your feedback will help shape the final form of Australia’s refreshed priorities and statement. These will help to deliver social, economic and environmental benefits for all Australians.

Have your say on the draft priorities
