We have published our new Evaluation Strategy 2024–2028.
Evaluation helps us meet our purpose: building a better future for Australia through a productive, strong and sustainable economy. Our new evaluation strategy provides a framework to encourage and support the use of informed judgement for all our work and actions.
The strategy has 3 pillars for success:
- establishing evaluative practices
- evidence and accountability
- increasing capability.
The new strategy is relevant to all we do as a department.
By evaluating the right things, in the right way, at the right time, we can continue to improve what we do. This will help us to achieve better outcomes for all Australians.
