The NMI will honour outstanding measurement achievements through the 2024 National Measurement Institute Measurement Awards.
The awards recognise measurement excellence at all levels - from early career professionals through to established researchers.
This year’s awards include:
- the Barry Inglis Medal acknowledges sustained contributions to Australian measurement science and infrastructure
- the NMI Measurement Impact award spotlights achievements with tangible real-world impact
- the Measurement Achievements Encouragement Award (formerly the NMI Prize) rewards measurement-related achievements by early to mid-career professionals
- the People’s Choice Award recognises the winner of the audience vote during National Science Week.
