Government response
The government notes recommendations 1-12 made by the committee in its report.
However, given the passage of time since this report was tabled, a substantive government response to these recommendations is no longer appropriate.
Introduction
The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Economics prepared a report on the inquiry into impediments to business investment.
The committee published its report in March 2018.
The Australian Government tabled this response in the House of Representatives on 28 May 2024.
