The government asked Industry Innovation and Science Australia (IISA) to develop a strategic plan for the Australian innovation, science and research system to 2030.
On 30 January 2018, the government publicly released IISA’s Australia 2030: prosperity through innovation.
The Minister for Jobs and Innovation released the government’s response to IISA’s 2030 plan on 22 May 2018.
