The Global Innovation Strategy is a whole-of-government approach to increasing Australia’s innovation and science connections internationally.
In the post-commencement evaluation, we assessed program design, implementation, early indicators, outcomes and readiness for evaluation. We found that:
- the need for the Global Innovation Strategy was well understood
- it was implemented relatively well
- early performance metrics indicate positive outcomes for component programs
We are addressing issues identified around the timing of future reviews.
