PVC Flat Electrical Cables exported from the People's Republic of China

The Anti-Dumping Review Panel (Review Panel) received an application seeking a review of a decision by the Minister for Industry and Science under section 269TG of the Customs Act 1901 in respect of PVC Flat Electrical Cables exported from the People's Republic of China (the Reviewable Decision). Notice of the Reviewable Decision was published on Anti-Dumping Commission's website (EPR 469) on 1 September 2022 (ADN 2022/019 refers).

Under subsection 269ZZK(1) of the Act, the Review Panel is required to provide a report to the Minister recommending that the Reviewable Decision either be affirmed or revoked and substituted with a specified new decision.

The Review Panel's Report and the Minister's Decision were subject to judicial review proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia. A link to the matter on the Commonwealth Courts portal is available here
