We help you partner with the research sector to solve industry-identified problems. 

The CRC Program supports the development of technologies, products and services that help reduce Australian industry problems. It aims to increase their:

  • competitiveness
  • productivity
  • sustainability.

Critical Technologies Challenge Program (CTCP) round 1

The Australian Government is looking for quantum solutions to solve 4 of our most significant national challenges.

Challenge 1: Optimise the performance, sustainability, and security of energy networks.

Challenge 2: Improve medical imaging and medical sensors to support diagnosis, treatment of disease and monitoring activities inside the human body.

Challenge 3: Enhance communication with autonomous systems in varying environments.

Challenge 4: Optimise and reduce the impact of resource exploration, extraction, and mineral processing.

Diversity in STEM

We’re supporting the development of a thriving, skilled and diverse workforce in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Elevate: Boosting Diversity in STEM

Elevate partners with industry to grow the pool of women and non-binary leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by co-funding university scholarships. The Australian Academy of Science and Technology delivers the program.

Girls in STEM Toolkit (GiST)

The GiST delivers resources to support primary and secondary school aged girls and diverse students to see a future for themselves in STEM education and careers. The toolkit includes resources for students to explore the many opportunities available through STEM. It also has evidence-based educational support resources for their teachers, families and carers, aligned to the curriculum. Education Services Australia manages this program.

Driving innovation, productivity and competitiveness in 6 key growth industry sectors.

Industry Growth Program

This program provides advice and grant funding for innovative small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups to commercialise their ideas and grow their businesses.
