We sought public feedback on the proposed reform options presented in the Consultation Regulation Impact Statement (RIS). Read the consultation RIS and summary of feedback.

The RIS was assessed by the Office of Best Practice Regulation and was the first ever RIS to receive an exemplary rating. The RIS sets out the 3 reform options for Australia’s measurement law and presents a preferred option for the government to consider.
