Nicole is based at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta.

Her role is to support the Australian Government’s Net Zero objectives and position Australian investment in line with the South East Asia Strategy to influence market settings, support supply chain diversification and grow Australia’s emerging green industries.

This includes:

• Implementing the Electric Vehicle Mechanism MOU between Australia and Indonesia. To enhance cooperation on secure and diverse supply chains for critical minerals and resources
• Promote the breadth of Australia’s science capabilities and identify opportunities for collaboration
• Enhancing understanding of Australia’s digital and critical technology capabilities.

Nicole is a highly professional public servant that specialises in strategy, transformation, and stakeholder engagement. Nicole has broad experience working across the private, government and not-for-profit sectors.

Together with her skills in science, technology, industry, and trade policy make her ideally positioned to successfully deliver on the priorities of the Counsellor position.
