Uncoated white paper of a type used for writing, printing or other graphic purposes, in the nominal basis weight range of 70 to 100 gsm and cut to sheets of metric sizes A4 (210mm x 297mm) and A3 (297mm x 420mm) (also commonly referred to as cut sheet paper, copy paper, office paper or laser paper).

The paper is not coated, watermarked or embossed and is subjectively white. It is made mainly from bleached chemical pulp and/or from pulp obtained by a mechanical or chemi-mechanical process and/or from recycled pulp.

Reconsideration of A4 Copy Paper exported from the People's Republic of China by UPM Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

The Anti-Dumping Review Panel ("ADRP") recommenced a Review following orders from the Federal Court that the decisions of the Assistant Minister for Science, Jobs and Innovation and the ADRP in relation to exports of A4 copy paper exported by UPM Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (“Reviewable Decision”) be set aside and the matter be remitted to the Review Panel for reconsideration in accordance with law.

The Anti-Dumping Review Panel (ADRP) has received an application from Paper Australia Pty Ltd dated 13 April 2017 for review of a decision ('Reviewable Decision') by the Commissioner of the Anti-Dumping Commission ('Commission') to terminate part of Investigation 341 into the alleged dumping and subsidisation of A4 copy paper exported to Australia.The part of the Investigation which was terminated related to goods exported:

A4 Copy Paper exported from the Federative Republic of Brazil, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Indonesia and the Kingdom of Thailand

The Anti-Dumping Review Panel ("ADRP") received applications for review of a decision by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science to publish a dumping duty notice in respect of A4 Copy Paper exported from the Federative Republic of Brazil, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Indonesia and the Kingdom of Thailand ("Reviewable Decision").
