John Keegan is a management consultant with successful start-up experience. He has a background in corporate strategy and line management roles in operations, sales and marketing.

John has a focus on small to medium enterprises (SMEs) including start-ups in a range of industries, including: 

• clean and enabling technology
• resources
• engineering and manufacturing. 

John’s experience includes adviser roles with our department, giving business advice and government grants to over 250 SMEs over 11 years. He also founded a facilities’ management company and grew it to $170 million turnover and 800 staff before selling to an American company. His other relevant roles include:

• General Manager at Tyco
• Management Consultant with PwC companies
• Mill maintenance, workshop and Project Engineer in the mining industry.

John has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM).

John lives in Sydney.
