Geoff is based at the Australian Embassy in Washington DC.

He facilitates our important partnership with the USA and Canada around industry policy.

This includes: 

• enhancing cooperation on secure and diverse supply chains for critical minerals and resources 
• engaging on the development and use of safe and responsible critical technologies 
• growing our shared industrial bases
• facilitating science, research, and space collaboration.

Geoff is a seasoned senior executive with extensive experience leading the design and delivery of national policy and program priorities. These range from critical technologies, through to science, research and development, innovation, cyber security, and more recently critical minerals and market transparency. 

Geoff has also played a pivotal role in Australian international engagement. He was Australia’s delegate in digital economy and technology workstreams for the G7+, OECD, G20, the Quad, and bilateral negotiations.
