Dr Kate Cornick has considerable experience in technology and innovation. This is across start-ups, academia, corporate and government. 

Current positions:

• Chief Executive Officer of LaunchVic, Victoria’s startup agency
• Chair of the University of Melbourne’s Genesis Pre-Seed Fund Investment Committee
• Director and Investment Committee Member of the Alice Anderson Fund
• Member of the Charles Sturt University Council. 

Expertise:

• Held a number of Board positions
• Previously Dr Cornick developed a human resources technology startup
• CEO of ASX listed Rision Ltd. 

Qualifications:

• PhD in optical telecommunications at the University of Melbourne.
